Chiquito Quito Art Encounter for children encourages inquiry, production and circulation of cultural products of quality for children. We seek to promote a real exercise of cultural rights for this sector community. Chiquito Quito committed to cultural creators and managers to rethink the arts and creative process for a public eminently critical asset: children.
From the link exchange and promote the development of networks and platforms that drive work with other audiences, aims to foster the art and place it on other levels of community interaction. Thus, Quito proposed Chiquito public integration of children to traditional distribution channels of art.

SAMPLE OBJECTIVE
Involve artists in a production process that includes job creation in art, object, visual , audiovisual and relational children. In this sense, it aims at a confrontation of the artists and young audiences, generating the search for aesthetic languages \u200b\u200bsuitable for children.

professional artists may participate in the process of training building line: plastic, visual, illustration, photography, animation, street art, and related audiovisual, whose design must be submitted via email or in a sealed envelope to the following addresses:

are accepted in any technique whose thematic and formal resolution is directed toward children as a target. The dimensions of the object-based and plastic pieces are not over 50 x 50 cm.
BASES 1. The (the) participants must submit their proposals before March 22, 2011.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to exclude any proposal or finished work, unless they conform to the basis set, namely: a.

Works arrive in poor condition.
The selection of works will be undertaken by a curatorial committee composed of one member of the collective and co organizers.
communication of the selected works will be held on Monday March 20, 2011.
After this screening, the works remain on public display for two weeks in Don Apolonio Presents. During the voting period will be opened, children from local schools who will be selected by direct vote 5 works.
These works will be presented in Quito-Ecuador and will be part of the Fifth Display Contest. The sample in Ecuador start on 1 June this year and two months remain open to the public. In this case the end of the sample children by the same method of voting to award a prize only equivalent to USD 500.
The prize can not be declared void.
Matters not provided for in these rules shall be decided by the Organizing Committee.
