Appreciation Workshop for Contemporary Art

DESCRIPTION:
The workshop focuses on getting participants to acquire historical elements, social skills and that allow not only have a greater understanding of artistic production of the last decades, but also to generate a critical position in relation to contemporary artistic.
The workshop consists of three core elements :
Historical Context. Arises as a phase of historical context of artistic production and movements have been occurring in the last 5 decades, enabling students to acquire a sort of historical record which may appeal to recognize history and influences on contemporary works
Social Context. Tried to analyze the socio-cultural conditions in which the artistic graft in order to understand its relevance. Explaining the reasons why artists choose to use media and specific speech, emphasizing the role played by the specific context of the artist in that election.
theoretical elements. In this last part will provide the student with theoretical tools, to generate readings and analysis of artistic works. By the end of this stage the student should have general knowledge of semiotics, art theory and curatorial.

This workshop is aimed at students and people related to the plastic arts s visual arts.
DESCRIPTION:
The workshop focuses on ensuring that assume importance particiapntes
that means understanding their personal capacities for self-management of projects, thus, develop and realize clear and consistent personal proposals. The participant
learn to organize information to answer calls for grants and competitions, mainly based on the format FONCA.
The workshop is div idid into three parts:
Conceptualization . Arises as a phase of organization of ideas and basic and specialized content. Will be met c gentle writing of the participants.
Production . It focuses on the use of information obtained in the conceptualization phase, now understood as a research method, pa ra development or comparison of the creative process.
Self Management . The participant will organize the information obtained from the first two phases of the workshop more personal information to be contained in the drafting of a complete project, here we focus on the development of curriculum, staff review, filling out forms, work sheets, work register and ela

Basic Drawing Workshop, Portrait and Caricature

Hours: Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (you can see with the teacher to suit your schedule)
Duration: 8 weeks
Cost: $ 800 two months, $ 150 per week
Objective
This workshop seeks to improve student technical tools through his skill at drawing. During the workshop, different types of exercises work to help meet the objectives of the student. Course members will propose their objectives and then be associated with the component parts of this workshop, according to them to decide whether they specialize in one of them.
The work of human figure and portrait images will be worked on, with the exception of the classes that have a model.
